From Multiple Initiatives to One Defined Lead Program
Category: Scope Consolidation
The Tension
Good in the ’Hood operated several programs, each with visible impact. However, no single initiative was clearly positioned to donors and partners as the lead program. That meant donors and partners had to decide where to engage, rather than being led to a clear next step. Without a defined anchor program, fundraising and communication were diluted across competing priorities.
The Shift
Through discovery and evaluation, Voom Creative and Good in the ‘Hood selected SoleCare for Souls as the primary program for expansion. Organizational messaging was rebuilt around this initiative, clarifying who it serves and how people can engage with and support it. Instead of promoting multiple programs, communication centered on one defined entry point.
The Signal
A defined Good in the ‘Hood lead program is now in place, with messaging and materials aligned around SoleCare for Souls as the primary path for donor and partner engagement.
Leadership Insight
You cannot grow every initiative at once. Focus creates a clear path for people to engage and respond.
